Additional Conditions

• (1) Where amplified music (either recorded or live) is being played a tamper proof sound limiting device must be installed at the premises to the level set in agreement with the Council. All amplified music (either recorded or live) played on the premises must be subject to the control of the noise limiting device.
• 1) No supply of alcohol may be made under the premises licence: a) at a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the premises licence; or b) at a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his/her personal licence is suspended. 2) Every supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence.
• (1) The holder of the premises licence will ensure that the system and cameras are maintained in working order at all times, in accordance with guidance issued by the Dorset Police crime prevention officer and that all recordings are kept for 30 days. (2) Embedded Restrictions (para 6(8) Schedule 8 Licensing Act 2003) Alcohol may be sold or supplied: (1) On weekdays, other than Christmas Day, Good Friday or New Year’s Eve from 10am to 12pm. (2) On Sundays, other than Christmas Day or New Year’s Eve, and on Good Friday: 12 noon to 11:30pm (3) On Christmas Day: 12 noon to 11:30pm; (4) On New Year’s Eve, except on a Sunday, 10 a.m. to midnight; (5) On New Year’s Eve on a Sunday, 12 noon to 11.30 p.m. (6) On New Year’s Eve from the end of permitted hours on New Year’s Eve to the start of permitted hours on the following day (or, if there are no permitted hours on the following day, midnight on 31st December). The above restrictions do not prohibit: (a) during the first twenty minutes after the above hours the consumption of the alcohol on the premises; (b) during the first twenty minutes after the above hours, the taking of the alcohol from the premises unless the alcohol is supplied or taken in an open vessel; (c) during the first thirty minutes after the above hours the consumption of the alcohol on the premises by persons taking meals there if the alcohol was supplied for consumption as ancillary to the meals; (d) consumption of the alcohol on the premises or the taking of sale or supply of alcohol to any person residing in the premises. (e) the ordering of intoxicating liquor to be consumed off the premises or the despatch by the vendor of liquor so ordered. (f) the sale of intoxicating liquor to a trader for the purposes of his trade or to a registered club for the purposes of the club. (g) the sale or supply of intoxicating liquor to any canteen or mess. (h) the taking of intoxicating liquor from the premises by a person residing there (i) the supply of intoxicating liquor for consumption on the premises to any private friends of a person residing there who are bone fide entertained by him at his own expense or the consumption of intoxicating liquor by persons so supplied. (j) the supply of intoxicating liquor for consumption on the premises to persons employed there for the purposes of business carried on by the holder of the licence or the consumption of liquor so supplied if the liquor is supplied at the expense of their employer or of the person carrying on or in charge of the business on the premises. Suitable non-alcoholic beverages, including drinking water, shall be equally available for consumption with or otherwise as an ancillary to meals served in the licensed premises. The premises must be bona fide used for the purpose of: (a) habitually providing the customary main meal at midday or in the evening, or both, for the accommodation of persons frequenting the premises; and (b) habitually providing for reward board and lodging including breakfast and one other at least of the customary main meals. (c) intoxicating liquor shall not be sold or supplied on the premises otherwise than to (i) persons taking table meals there and for consumption by such a person as ancillary to his meal (ii) persons residing there or their private friends bona fide entertained by them at their own expense and for consumption by such person or his friend so entertained by him either on the premises or with a meal supplied at but to be consumed off the premises. There shall be afforded in the premises for persons provided with board and lodging for reward adequate sitting accommodation in a room not used or to be used for sleeping accommodation, for the service of substantial refreshment or for the supply or consumption of intoxicating liquor.
