Additional Conditions
The attached standard conditions (from the converted licence) also apply to this club premises certificate (Paragraph 6(8) Schedule 8 Licensing Act 2003).
The holder of the club premises certificate will ensure that the supply of alcohol for consumption OFF the premises is made as follows: a) the supply must be made at a time when the premises are open for the purposes of supplying alcohol, in accordance with the club premises certificate, to members of the club for consumption on the premises; b) it must be in a sealed container; c) it must be made to a member of the club in person.
Embedded Restrictions (para 18(4), Schedule 8 Licensing Act 2003) Alcohol shall not be sold or supplied except during permitted hours. On this condition, permitted hours means: (a) On weekdays, other than Christmas Day, Good Friday or New Years Eve, 10.00am to 11.00pm. (b) On Sundays, other than Christmas Day or New Years Eve, 12 noon to 10.30pm. (c) On Good Friday, 12 noon to 10.30pm. (d) On New Years Eve, except on a Sunday, 10.00am on New Years Eve to 11.00pm on New Years Day. (e) On New Years Eve on a Sunday, 12 noon on New Years Eve to 11.00pm on New Years Day. (f) On Christmas Day, as provided by the rules of the Club and notified in writing by the Chairman or Secretary of the Club to the Chief Executive of the Justices for the Petty Sessions areas in which the premises are. The said hours shall: i) not exceed six and a half hours; ii) not begin earlier than 12 noon; iii) not end later than 10.30pm; iv) provide for a break of at least 2 hours, including 3.00pm to 5.00pm; v) not extend for more than three and a half hours after 5.00pm. The above restrictions do not prohibit the supply to, or consumption by, any person of alcohol in any premises where they are residing.
Refer to plans dated 15th August 2002 drawn by S E Johns Facilities and Construction Management for Wyke Regis Social Club (submitted as part of an application to convert an existing Club Registration Certificate to a Club Premises Certificate under Section 8 to the Licensing Act 2003 dated 1st July 2005) which forms part of this licence and should be read in conjunction with it.
Crime and Disorder (1) The premises shall be conducted at all times decently, soberly and in an orderly manner. No offensive or obscene performances shall be permitted. (2) The Licensee shall afford access to the premises at all times during licensed hours to any Police Officer in uniform, any uniformed member of the Fire Service and any duly authorised officer of the Weymouth and Portland Borough Council for the purpose of seeing that these conditions are complied with. Public Safety (3) The maximum number of people, including staff, permitted to be present on the premises during licensed hours shall be in the Main Bar 110, in the Games Bar 200 and in the Skittle Alley 60 the persons are to be so distributed and in such a manner that at no time shall the maximum number in the areas shown on the plan be exceeded or as notified to you from time to time in writing by the Dorset County Council as the Fire Authority. (4) All steps shall be taken as respect the structure and layout of the premises and the equipment provided therein to reduce danger to life from fire as in the opinion of the Fire Authority are reasonable having regard to the number of persons likely to use the premises. (5) No alterations or additions shall be made to the premises without prior notification of at least 21 days to the Fire Authority. (6) The holder of the club premises certificate will ensure that: (a) when disabled people are present on the premises, there are adequate arrangements to enable their safe evacuation in the event of an emergency; (b) any disabled people on the premises are made aware of those arrangements. Prevention of Public Nuisance (6) The licensed premises shall not be opened or used for any regulated entertainment except (for the purposes and) at the times set out below:- Friday and Saturday 10:00 to midnight Protection of Children from Harm (7) The holder of the club premises certificate will ensure that (a) proof of age is required for any sale / supply of alcohol that takes place where there is a suspicion on the part of the person selling or supplying the alcohol that the customer is under 18 years of age; (b) proof of age is required when the presence of children is restricted to all or part of the premises, or at certain times; (c) such proof of age conforms to the PASS accreditation system, photo driving licence, student cards and passports.
Embedded Restrictions (para 6(8) Schedule 8 Licensing Act 2003) 1) No intoxicating liquor shall be supplied otherwise than to: (a) A member of the club who has been a member for at least two days or whose nomination or application for membership was made at least two days before his admission; or (b) A guest of such a member bona fide entertained by him at his expense; or (c) Any person whose admission to the club premises is provided for by Rule 2(c) of the Rules. 2) There shall be rules of the club for the election of members, and a copy of such rules and any other such rules shall be deposited with the Licensing Authority. Notice of any other alterations in any of the rules shall be given to the Licensing Authority within fourteen days. 3) A list of the names and addresses of all members of the club be kept on the premises.
