Refer to plans dated 4th October 2002 (Drawing Number MB14311A) produced for Dorset Fire and Rescue Service with licensable areas highlighted in orange and entertainment areas highlighted in green (submitted as part of an application to convert and vary an existing club registration certificate to a club premises certificate under Schedule 8 to the Licensing Act 2003 dated 22nd June 2005) which forms part of this licence and should be read in conjunction with it.
The attached standard conditions (from the converted licence) also apply to this club premises certificate (Paragraph 6(8) Schedule 8 Licensing Act 2003).
Crime and Disorder Embedded Restrictions (para 6(8) Schedule 8 Licensing Act 2003) (1) No intoxicating liquor shall be supplied otherwise than to: (a) A member of the club who has been a member for at least two days or whose nomination or application for membership was made at least two days before his admission; or (b) A guest of such a member bona fide entertained by him at his expense; or (c) Any person whose admission to the club premises is provided for by Rule 2(c) of the Rules. (2) There shall be rules of the club for the election of members, and a copy of such rules and any other such rules shall be deposited with the Licensing Authority. Notice of any other alterations in any of the rules shall be given to the Licensing Authority within fourteen days. (3) A list of the names and addresses of all members of the club be kept on the premises. (4) The premises shall be conducted at all times decently, soberly and in an orderly manner. No offensive or obscene performances shall be permitted. (5) The Licensee shall afford access to the premises at all times during licensed hours to any Police Officer in uniform, any uniformed member of the Fire Service and any duly authorised officer of the Weymouth and Portland Borough Council for the purpose of seeing that these conditions are complied with. Public Safety (6) The holder of the club premises certificate will ensure that a record of all safety checks, tests, examinations, fire drills and / or accidents are kept in a Log Book. (7) The holder of the club premises certificate will ensure that all escape routes are kept unobstructed, free of trip` hazards and are clearly identified. (8) The holder of the club premises certificate will ensure that all fire-fighting equipment on the premises is serviced and maintained so as to be available for use at any time. (9) The maximum number of people, including staff, permitted to be present on the premises during licensed hours shall be in the Function Hall 120 or as notified to you from time to time in writing by the Dorset County Council as the Fire Authority. (10) All steps shall be taken as respect the structure and layout of the premises and the equipment provided therein to reduce danger to life from fire as in the opinion of the Fire Authority are reasonable having regard to the number of persons likely to use the premises. (11) No alterations or additions shall be made to the premises without prior notification of at least 21 days to the Fire Authority. Prevention of Public Nuisance (12) Each external door opening from the area covered by the Licence to the outside must be kept closed whilst music or any amplified sound is being played/produced. If the external doors are required for the entrance or exit of clients, there must be a lobby to prevent breakout of noise with at least one set of internal doors and at no time shall both the external and internal doors be open at the same time. No measures whatsoever, whether by pinning back, propping open or other means, are to be taken to keep either set of doors open. (13) Where amplified music (either recorded or live) is being played a tamper-proof sound limiting device must be installed at the premises to the level set in agreement with the Council. All amplified music (either recorded or live) played on the premises must be subject to the control of the sound limiting device. Protection of Children from Harm (14) The holder of the club premises certificate will ensure that access to the premises for all persons under the age of 18 is prohibited unless they are accompanied by a parent/guardian.
