Any individual employed to carry out a security activity must be licensed by the Security Industry Authority.

(1) Each external door opening from the area covered by the Premises Licence to the outside must be closed whilst music or any amplified sound is being played/produced and after 23:00 hrs daily. If the external doors are required for the entrance or exit of clients, there must be a lobby to prevent breakout of noise with at least one set of internal doors and at no time shall both the external and internal doors be open at the same time. No measures whatsoever, whether by pinning back, propping open or other means, are to be taken to keep either set of doors open. (2) The holder of the Club Premises Certificate will ensure that prominent and clear notices/instructions are displayed at all relevant exit points instructing customers/staff to respect the needs of local residents and not to cause unnecessary noise when they leave the premises. (3) The holder of the Club Premises Certificate will ensure that a named supervisor, or other appropriate person with responsibility for the day to day running of the premises, will receive and respond to all complaints throughout the duration of noisy events. (4) The holder of the Club Premises certificate will ensure that: (a) a suitable CCTV system, of a specification approved by the Dorset Police crime prevention officer, is installed at the premises; (b) the location of each camera is approved by the Dorset Police crime prevention officer; (c) the system and cameras are maintained in working order at all times, in accordance with guidance issued by the Dorset Police crime prevention officer; (d) all recordings are kept for 30 days. (5) The holder of the Club Premises Certificate will ensure that an alarm system is fitted to all external windows and/or fire doors to alert staff when they are opened without authorisation.
(4) A list of the names and addresses of all members of the club to be kept on the premises. No intoxicating liquor shall be supplied for consumption off the premises except to a member in person. Prevention of Crime and Disorder (5) A notice will be displayed at the entrance to the premises advising that CCTV is in operation. (6) The holder of the club premises certificate will ensure that no customers take glasses or open bottles from the premises. (7) The holder of the club premises certificate will ensure that there is a specific period of 30 minutes between when licensable activities cease and the premises closes. (8) Where a condition is attached to the licence requiring the provision of individuals to carry out security activities, such as door supervision, the holder of the club registration certificate will ensure that: (a) all security personnel wear a name badge as identification; (b) each person employed to carry out security activities carries proof of his/her registration with the Security Industry Authority. Public Safety (9) The holder of the club premises certificate will ensure that: (a) when disabled people are present on the premises, there are adequate arrangements to enable their safe evacuation in the event of an emergency; (b) any disabled people on the premises are made aware of those arrangements. (10) The holder of the club premises certificate will ensure that: (a) all escape routes are kept unobstructed, free of trip hazards and are clearly identified; (b) that all exit doors are easily openable without the need of a key, card, code or similar means; (c) all exit doors are regularly checked to ensure that they function satisfactorily and a record of all such checks is kept; (d) all removable security fastenings are removed whenever the premises are open to the public or occupied by staff. (11) The holder of the club premises certificate will ensure that: (a) notices detailing the actions to be taken in the event of fire or other emergencies are prominently displayed; (b) all such notices are protected from damage and deterioration. Prevention of Public Nuisance (12) The holder of the club premises certificate will ensure that there is a Noise Management Policy in place. This will include monitoring the noise from outside the premises, back and front; making sure the windows and doors are closed and checking that customers leave the premises quietly. A written log of these checks will be kept. (13) The holder of the club premises certificate will ensure that all external windows are kept closed whilst regulated entertainment is taking place. (14) The holder of the club premises certificate will ensure that where a noise limiting device is installed, it is fitted and maintained in such a manner as to control all sources of amplified music at the premises and at all times. (15) The holder of the club premises certificate will ensure that disposal of waste bottles into external containers does not occur between 20.00 and 10:00 in order to minimize disturbance. Protection of Children from Harm (16) The holder of the club premises certificate will ensure that (a) proof of age is required for any sale/supply of alcohol that takes place where there is a suspicion on the part of the person selling or supplying the alcohol that the customer is under 18 years of age; (b) proof of age is required when the presence of children is restricted to all or part of the premises, or at certain times; (c) such proof of age conforms to the PASS accreditation system, photo driving licence, student cards and passports. (17) The holder of the club premises certificate will ensure that no person under the age of 18 is allowed on the premises unless accompanied by a parent or guardian. (18) The holder of the club premises certificate will ensure that no entertainment is allowed which could cause harm to children. (19) The holder of the club premises certificate will ensure that no member is allowed to purchase alcohol for consumption by minors.
The holder of the club premises certificate will ensure that the supply of alcohol for consumption OFF the premises is made as follows: a) the supply must be made at a time when the premises are open for the purposes of supplying alcohol, in accordance with the club premises certificate, to members of the club for consumption on the premises; b) it must be in a sealed container; c) it must be made to a member of the club in person.
Embedded Restrictions (para 6(8) Schedule 8 Licensing Act 2003) 1) No intoxicating liquor shall be supplied otherwise than to: (a) A member of the club who has been a member for at least two days or whose nomination or application for membership was made at least two days before his admission; or (b) A guest of such a member bona fide entertained by him at his expense; or (c) Any person whose admission to the club premises is provided for by Rule 2(c) of the Rules. 2) There shall be rules of the club for the election of members, and a copy of such rules and any other such rules shall be deposited with the Licensing Authority. Notice of any other alterations in any of the rules shall be given to the Licensing Authority within fourteen days. 3) A list of the names and addresses of all members of the club be kept on the premises.
