ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
Prevention of Crime and Disorder
(1) The holder of the premises licence will ensure that a drugs policy will be agreed with the Police and implemented.
(2) The holder of the premises licence will ensure plastic or toughened glass containers are used for the supply of beverages where available.
(3) The holder of the premises licence will not introduce, or take part in, any irresponsible sales promotion or discounting of prices of alcoholic beverages.
(4) A representative of the premises licence holder will actively participate in a Pubwatch scheme where such a scheme exists.
Prevention of Public Nuisance
(5) The holder of the premises licence will comply with the reasonable requirements of the Environmental Health Officer with regards to matters relating to acoustic measures, noxious smells and refuse.
(6) The holder of the premises licence will ensure that prominent and clear notices / instructions are displayed at all relevant exit points instructing customers / staff to respect the needs of local residents and not to cause unnecessary noise when they leave the premises.
(7) The holder of the premises licence will ensure that:
(a) persons under the age of 16 will only be permitted entry to the premises when trading if accompanied by an adult.
(b) Persons under the age of 18 will not be permitted to play the amusement with prizes machines.
(8) The holder of the premises licence/club registration certificate will ensure that:
(a) the admission of children is restricted in accordance with the following recommendations:
U - Universal. Suitable for audiences aged 4 years and over;
PG - Parental Guidance. Some scenes may be unsuitable for young children;
12A - passed only for viewing by persons aged 12 years or older or persons younger than 12 when accompanied by an adult;
15 - passed only for viewing by persons aged 15 or over;
18 - passed only for viewing by persons aged 18 or over.
(b) where the film being exhibited has been passed by the British Board of Film Classification, a reproduction of the certificate is to be shown on the screen for at least 5 seconds in such a manner as to be easily readable by all persons in the auditorium;
(c) where the film exhibition includes a trailer advertising a film, a copy of the statement approved by the British Board of Film Classification is to be exhibited on screen.
