Refer to plan dated May 2004 (Drawing numbers /002 and /003) prepared/drawn by juliawilloughby@weymouth.gov.uk on a scale of 1:100 for Weymouth Sports Club (submitted as part of an application to convert an existing club registration certificate to a club premises certificate under Schedule 8 to the Licensing Act 2003 dated 8th July 2005) which forms part of this licence and should be read in conjunction with it.
Crime and Disorder (1) The holder of the club premises certificate will ensure that: (a) the CCTV system and cameras are maintained in working order at all times, in accordance with guidance issued by the Dorset Police crime prevention officer; (b) all recordings are kept for 30 days. Public Safety (2) The holder of the club premises certificate will ensure that: (a) arrangements exist to ensure that an appropriate member of staff with day to day responsibility for running the premises, is aware of the number of people on the premises at any time; (b) the number of persons on the premises is provided to any authorised person when requested. (3) The holder of the club premises certificate will ensure that: (a) notices detailing the actions to be taken in the event of fire or other emergencies are prominently displayed; (b) all such notices are protected from damage and deterioration. (4) The holder of the club premises certificate will ensure that all fire-fighting equipment on the premises is serviced and maintained so as to be available for use at any time. (5) The holder of the club premises certificate will ensure that all escape routes are kept unobstructed, free of trip hazards and are clearly identified. Protection of Children from Harm (5) The holder of the club premises certificate will ensure that: (a) the admission of children is restricted in accordance with the following recommendations: U Universal. Suitable for audiences aged 4 years and over; PG Parental Guidance. Some scenes may be unsuitable for young children; 12A passed only for viewing by persons aged 12 years or older or persons younger than 12 when accompanied by an adult; 15 passed only for viewing by persons aged 15 or over; 18 passed only for viewing by persons aged 18 or over. (b) where the film being exhibited has been passed by the British Board of Film Classification, a reproduction of the certificate is to be shown on the screen for at least 5 seconds in such a manner as to be easily readable by all persons in the auditorium; (c) where the film exhibition includes a trailer advertising a film, a copy of the statement approved by the British Board of Film Classification is to be exhibited on screen.
Film Exhibitions The admission of children must be restricted as follows: 1) Where the film being exhibited has been classified by a body designated under section 4 of the Video Recordings Act 1984, admission of children ie. persons under 18 is restricted in accordance with any recommendation made by that body. 2) Where the film being exhibited has been classified by the licensing authority itself, the admission of children ie. persons under 18 is restricted in accordance with any recommendation made by the licensing authority.
The holder of the club premises certificate will ensure that the supply of alcohol for consumption OFF the premises is made as follows: a) the supply must be made at a time when the premises are open for the purposes of supplying alcohol, in accordance with the club premises certificate, to members of the club for consumption on the premises; b) it must be in a sealed container; c) it must be made to a member of the club in person.
