ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
Prevention of Crime and Disorder
(1) The holder of the premises licence will ensure that:
(a) “proof of age” is required for any sale / supply of alcohol that takes place where there is a suspicion on the part of the person selling or supplying the alcohol that the customer is under 18 years of age;
(b) “proof of age” is required when the presence of children is restricted to all or part of the premises, or at certain times;
(c) such proof of age conforms to the PASS accreditation system, photo driving licence, student cards and passports.
(2) The holder of the premises licence will ensure that:
(a) a suitable CCTV system, approved by Dorset Police and the Licensing Authority is installed at the premises;
(b) the system and cameras are maintained in working order at all times.
(c) all recordings are kept for 30 days.
(d) a notice is displayed at the entrance to the premises advising that CCTV is in operation.
Public Safety
(3) The holder of the premises licence will ensure that:
(a) all safety checks are carried out before the admission of the public to the premises;
(b) a record of all safety checks, tests, examinations, fire drills and / or accidents are kept in a Log Book.
that all exit doors are easily openable without the need of a key, card, code or similar means;
(4) The holder of the premises licence will ensure that:
(a) all exit doors are regularly checked to ensure that they function satisfactorily and a record of all such checks is kept;
(b) all fire doors are maintained effectively self-closing and shall not be held open other than by devices approved by the Dorset Fire & Rescue Service;
(c) that all exit doors are easily openable without the need of a key, card, code or similar means;
(5) The holder of the premises licence will ensure that the premises have a satisfactory NICEIC or ECA periodic electrical installation report
(6) The holder of the premises licence will ensure that adequate and appropriate supplies of first aid equipment and materials are available, taking into account the capacity of the premises;
(7) The holder of the premises licence will ensure that in the absence of adequate daylight, the lighting in any area accessible to the public is fully operational when they are present.
(8) The holder of the premises licence will ensure that:
(a) all Fire Safety Signs are illuminated whilst the public are on the premises;
(b) any Emergency Lighting system is maintained in working order at all times.and is not altered without approval from the Dorset Fire & Rescue Service.
Prevention of Public Nuisance
(9) The holder of the premises licence will ensure that:
(a) all external doors and windows are kept closed, other than for access and egress at all times when regulated entertainment is taking place and in any event after 23:00 to reduce breakout of noise.
(b) internal doors are kept closed at all times when regulated entertainment is taking place
(10) The holder of the premises licence will ensure that:
(a) prominent and clear notices / instructions are displayed at all relevant exit points instructing customers / staff to respect the needs of local residents and not to cause unnecessary noise when they leave the premises;
(b) public address announcements are made instructing customers / staff not to cause unnecessary noise when they leave the premises.
(11) The holder of the premises licence will ensure that amplified music will not be played at a level that will cause unreasonable disturbance to the occupants of any properties in the vicinity.
(12) The holder of the premises licence will ensure that any garden and / or patio area is not used by customers after 23:00.
Protection of Children from Harm
(13) The holder of the premises licence will ensure that no adult entertainment is provided at the premises.
