Additional Conditions

1) No supply of alcohol may be made under the premises licence: a) at a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the premises licence; or b) at a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his/her personal licence is suspended. 2) Every supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence.
ANNEX 1 - MANDATORY CONDITIONS

Sale of Alcohol

1)              No supply of alcohol may be made under the premises licence:

              a) at a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the premises licence; or
b) at a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his/her personal licence is suspended.

2)              Every supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence.

3)              (1) The premises licence holder or club premises certificate holder shall ensure that an age verification policy applies to the premises in relation to the sale or supply of alcohol.
(2) The policy must require individuals who appear to the responsible person to be under 18 years of age (or such older age as may be specified in the policy) to produce on request, before being served alcohol, identification bearing their photograph, date of birth and a holographic mark.
ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE

Embedded Restrictions (para 6(8) Schedule 8 Licensing Act 2003)

Alcohol shall not be sold or supplied except during permitted hours. In this condition, permitted hours means:

a) On weekdays, other than Christmas Day, 8.00am to 11.00pm;
b) On Sundays, other than Christmas Day, 10.00am to 10.30pm;
c) On Christmas Day, 12 noon to 3.00pm and 7.00pm to 10.30pm;
d) On Good Friday, 8.00am to 10.30pm.

The above restrictions do not prohibit:

a) the ordering of alcohol to be consumed off the premises, or the despatch by the vendor of the alcohol so ordered;
b) the sale of alcohol to a trader or club for the purposes of the trade or club;
c) the sale or supply of alcohol to any canteen or mess, being a canteen in which the sale or supply of alcohol is carried out under the authority of the Secretary of State or an authorised mess of members of Her Majesty’s naval, military or air forces.

Alcohol shall not be sold in an open container or be consumed in the licensed premises.
ANNEX 3 - CONDITIONS ATTACHED AFTER A HEARING BY THE LICENSING AUTHORITY

The following conditions were added as a result of the review hearing held on 2nd February 2010

1)              The premises licence holder will ensure that proof of age is sought from any person who appears to be aged 21 or under. Only a valid UK driving licence, passport or a card bearing the ‘PASS’ logo will be accepted as proof of age. If the correct identification is not produced, the sale of alcohol must be refused.

2)              The premises licence holder will ensure that all refused or challenged sales will be recorded.

3)              All staff will be trained upon induction and at least every 6 months thereafter, regarding their lawful and social responsibilities for the sale of alcohol. A written record of training will be kept and made available upon request to a Police or Authorised Officer.

4)              An effective CCTV system shall be installed on the premises and maintained in good order at all times with a minimum of 28 days continuous recordings. There must be sufficient cameras located to cover all public areas. There shall be sufficient members of trained staff available during the hours of operation to be able to copy/download recordings at the request of the Police or an Authorised Officer.

5)              Notices to be displayed at the entrance to the premises, inside the premises and at the point of sale indicating that customers who appear under the age of 21 will not be allowed to purchase alcohol except on the production of identification as above.
