ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
General
(1) With regard to larger scale events the holder of the premises licence will ensure that Independent Event Organisers are issued with complete event management guidance from the Local Authority.
Prevention of Crime and Disorder
(2) The holder of the premises licence will ensure that all events are marshalled and stewarded appropriately. Full liaison will take place, where necessary, with Dorset Police throughout the event with full communication procedure in place linking Council Officers, Police and CCTV.
Public Safety
(3) The holder of the premises licence will ensure that all safety checks are carried out before the admission of the public to the event.
(4) The holder of the premises licence will ensure that access to the area for emergency vehicles is kept clear and free from obstruction.
(5) The holder of the premises licence will ensure that:
(a) adequate and appropriate supplies of first aid equipment and materials are available, taking into account the capacity of the premises;
(b) at least one suitably trained first aider is on duty when the public are present.
(6) The holder of the premises licence will ensure that:
(a) no temporary electrical wiring and distribution systems are provided without prior inspection by a suitable qualified electrician;
(b) any temporary electrical wiring and distribution system complies with the recommendations of BS7671, or where applicable BS7909.
(7) The holder of the premises licence will inform the Fire Brigade, Police and Environmental Health of each event at least 7 days in advance.
Prevention of Public Nuisance
(8) The holder of the premises licence will ensure that public announcements are made instructing customers/staff not to cause unnecessary noise when they leave the premises.
(9) The holder of the premise licence will ensure that an appropriate person will receive and respond to all complaints throughout the duration of noisy events.
(10) The holder of the premises licence will ensure that an adequate number of waste containers are provided for use by customers, in positions agreed with the Environmental Health Department.
Protection of Children from Harm
(11) The holder of the premises licence will ensure that no entertainments or services of an adult nature will be staged nor any activity which may cause rise for concern to children.
